(Click on picture for full view). Exquisitely crafted by the artist in fine, hand-painted bisque porcelain. Cloth body and full armature. Leilani, presented standing holding a starfish in her tiny palm, is fully poseable. Hailing from the tropic Pacific islands, our lovely Leilani spends her days exploring the treasures washed ashore by the ocean waves. Her long, dark brown human hair is topped with a silk floral wreath, reminiscent of flowers she would find on her island; her blue eyes are glass. She strolls the beach today attired in a white batiste drop-waist dress, finished in French cotton lace, adorned with a lavender silk bow at the drop waist. Her sandals, designed especially for Leilani, have leather uppers attached to molded-on porcelain bottoms. The sandals are adorned with carved stone natural beads. She wears a shell necklace which she made herself from some of her shoreside finds. |
